Hahn are a leading provider of Sales and Marketing solutions across the Pharmaceutical industry. With an expanding and geographically dispersed sales force, they were looking for a CRM solution that was more cost effective and could be used by their mobile sales reps and capture specific industry information. This functionality was not available in their existing CRM product.
The CRM they were using was not flexible enough to capture all the information they needed and not industry specific enough. The annual licensing costs were becoming very expensive and the user interface of the generic CRM’s was not great or customised making the user experience poor, especially on mobile devices.
Simbient designed and built a web application that could be used on any mobile device using the latest mobile web technology. The app was designed specifically for mobile with a custom user interface and branding that captured all the data the client wanted with rich end user reports. The Admin also allowed Hahn to change the end user experience any time without developer intervention
The sales reps loved the solution, as it was built for how they work and interact on a daily basis. Hahn own the application, so do not have to pay the 200k in annual licensing costs each year and can add as many reps as needed, at no extra cost. The solution was built and paid for and saved Hahn 50K in the first year and will save them a further $170 k every year.

The really impressive thing from Simbient has been their ability to create a solution from a blank canvas whilst getting a brief from a client with no technical knowledge or capability.
